<div style="text-align: center;">You know the old proverb, &#8220;You can never understand a (wo)man until you walk a mile in their shoes.&#8221;  Or &#8220;Don&#8217;t criticize a man until you walk a mile in his shoes.&#8221;or the ever popular &#8220;Well put yourself in their shoes&#8230;&#8221;  (Sidebar &#8211; how do you punctuate a proverb or an expression? I&#8217;m sure I just did it wrong so forgive me.) Anyway, back to the reason I&#8217;m boring you with proverbs.  Last week I attended a fundraiser where the lovely Gwen Stefani donated three pairs of her custom made never been worn L.A.M.B. shoes from her personal closet.  Being the big fan of both Gwen and L.A.M.B. footwear that I am, I slid my sweet tootsies into this pair.  Here&#8217;s what I can tell you about Gwen Stefani after walking around my house in her shoes.  Firstly, she&#8217;s generous because she donated the shoes off her feet or at least ones that were made for her feet.  Secondly, she likes it breezy.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.slamscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/ODTE41.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-85" title="ODTE4" src="http://www.slamscene.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/ODTE41-260x300.jpg" alt="" width="260" height="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;"></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">The openness of this shoe and the ruching of the chiffon belay a SoCal easiness that reminds me of the warm Santa Ana winds at night.  Thirdly, she ain&#8217;t afraid of heights. These naughty girls are six inches high but constructed so beautifully that you feel completely stable in them.  No twisted ankles on Gwen&#8217;s watch.  No Ma&#8217;am! I plan of busting out these beauties soon and I promise to post the various  looks I incorporate them into or rather build around them.  My hats and shoes off to you, Gwen.</div>
